Founder & Principal Consultant

I’m Sydney Dimick, the founder and principal consultant behind Sydney Robyn Consulting.

I help legal and business teams improve how work gets done by optimizing processes, organizing information, defining governance, and implementing right-sized technology, with deep experience in Ironclad and contract lifecycle management.

Working with in-house legal teams was the first time in my career I felt like I had found my place. It uses so many of the skills I naturally enjoy: asking questions, untangling complexity, designing better ways of working, and teaching people how to use new systems. I also love that Legal sits close to so many parts of the business, which means improving legal operations often improves the experience for teams well beyond Legal.

My background spans in-house legal operations and consulting roles across technology, biotech, energy, and other complex business environments. I’ve helped teams source, implement, optimize, and expand CLM systems; design workflows; build governance models; create training programs; and improve the information foundations that make technology more effective. Some of that work has supported highly visible CLM programs and has been recognized within the legal technology community, including through Ironclad and Law360 coverage.

The common thread in my work is structure. I help teams understand what is happening today, what is getting in the way, and what needs to change so work can move more smoothly. Sometimes the answer is technology. Sometimes it is process, governance, information architecture, or better training. Usually, it is some combination of all of the above.

I value practicality. The best solutions are right-sized, clearly governed, and designed around how people actually work. Good design should reduce friction, make work easier to navigate, and give teams the structure to move with consistency and confidence as the business evolves.

That foundation matters even more as organizations explore AI, automation, and more connected ways of working. Advanced technology depends on organized information, consistent metadata, clear processes, and thoughtful governance. My work helps teams build that foundation, whether they are implementing Ironclad, optimizing an existing CLM program, or preparing for what comes next.
